Andrew T. Inorio, Business Manager
Laborers’ Local Union 455 Business Manager/Secretary-Treasurer Andrew Inorio is proud to continue the legacy of service to Laborers’ Local 455 as he is a third-generation Laborer following his grandfather and father both serving as proud members of the East Haven, Connecticut local.
Brother Inorio joined Local 455 in September 2005, and initially worked in the field primarily for LVI Environmental Services. He began there as a General Laborer and moved up the ranks to the position of Head Supervisor overseeing multiple projects. During his career, Brother Inorio worked on high profile jobs such as Trumbull College, Silliman College, Johnathan Edwards College, Calhoun College, Morse College, and the Yale University Art Gallery among others.
In January of 2011, he left LVI to accept the position of Field Representative of Laborers’ Local Union 455, while simultaneously serving as President of the local. Prior to being appointed Field Representative of the local, he also served as an Auditor, Executive Board Member, and a Delegate to the Connecticut Laborers’ District Council (CLDC).
Brother Inorio was elected Business Manager/Secretary Treasurer in June of 2022, following both his uncle and cousin in those positions. Currently, he also holds the position of Financial Secretary/Treasurer of the New Haven Building Trades Council and Executive Board Member of the CLDC.
His educational achievements include earning a Bachelor of Science in Labor Studies/Labor Management Relations and a Master of Arts in Labor and Public Policy both from SUNY Empire State College of New York.
